2. Make An Appointment

After you have completed and submitted an application, an adoption counselor will reach out to schedule an appointment. Suppose you have previously submitted an adoption application. In that case, you are already in our system, so don't hesitate to contact Mountain Humane directly for an appointment by calling 208-788-4351 or emailing adoptions@mountainhumane.org.

Tuesday - Saturday: 11am - 5pm

Visit our kitties, and you might also catch one of our doggy playgroups in action. Adoptions are available seven days a week by appointment.

Adoption Fees

Dogs

  • $250 Puppies (Up to six months)
  • $150 Dogs (7 months and over)
  • $75 Senior and special needs dogs (7+, additional care or meds needed)

Cats

  • $100 Kittens (Under one year, and the second kitten is free!)
  • $50 Cats (1 year and older, and the second one is free!)

What’s included in the cost?

All Mountain Humane animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.

Veterans and Seniors 25% Off!

Active Service Members, Veterans, and Seniors (65+) can adopt their next Best Friend for 25% off the adoption fee.
