Ashley was raised on a farm in Kimberly, Idaho; which she directly correlates to her decision to work in veterinary medicine. She officially started working in veterinary clinics in 2014 then graduated from the College of Southern Idaho Veterinary Technology with her A.A.S. She then continued to get her state license in Veterinary Technology in 2017.

After college Ashley was introduced to the Wood River Valley after she started working at the Sun Valley Animal Center, with a special interest in orthopedic surgeries.

Having grown up with dogs, cats, horses, cows, goats, sheep, and many different exotic pets. Ashley has always had an interest in veterinary work, while she still has a menagerie of animals back home on the farm her other hobbies include: competitive trapshooting, painting, drawing, kayaking, hiking, and horseback riding.
