Sidney Bashaw

Sidney joined Mountain Humane over a year ago and loves her work as part of our essential medical team. She grew up surrounded by critters of all sorts – dogs, cats, horses, chickens, fish, pet rats, and even hermit crabs – and she always knew that she wanted to work with animals.  Sidney was raised in the Wood River Valley and Southern California, but prefers it here where the people are wonderful and everything is pet-friendly. She can be found reading, skiing, horseback riding, and writing when not at work. It is her dream to be an author someday. Her current furry family includes two perpetually skeptical cats, one chronically concerned cat, a walking feather duster of a dog (a Pomeranian named Phoebe), a loyal Labrador called Scout and one curious horse. We are so grateful to have Sidney has part of the Mountain Humane family!
