Allani Fostvedt, DVM

Associate Veterinarian

Allani Delis Fostvedt was born and raised in Heyburn, Idaho where her family farms potatoes. Although a big fan of potatoes, Allani left Southern Idaho and followed her passion for animals. She attended Washington State University for undergraduate studies, and received a bachelors in Zoology and Spanish. She loved the Palouse so much that she stayed for an additional 4 years to complete her Veterinary Medicine degree.

After graduating, Allani moved to Sacramento with her husband, Matthias, where she sharpened her skills in emergency, surgery, and internal medicine. After Sacramento, Allani returned to her favorite place in the world, the Wood River Valley. Since moving back to Idaho, Allani has been employed full time in Ketchum at St. Francis now Habitat. She is excited to continue serving the community by working at Mountain Humane.
When not at work, Allani‘s favorite pastimes are whitewater kayaking, mountain biking, trail running, reading, and painting. The Fostvedt household consists of 4 bantam chickens, a previously feral now very domestic cat (Dickel), and a Rilo’s Rescue cattle dog mutt (Unni).
