Rosemary Aquilante

Board Member

With a BS degree from Penn State University, Rosemary has held director positions in marketing, sales, and product management in various medical diagnostic and start-up biotech companies. Rosemary discovered the Wood River Valley in 1999 and finally became a full time Elkhorn resident in 2017.  Her association with Mountain Humane (then the ASWRV) began in 2003 when she fostered a long-term resident named Bandit. She adopted Bandit and has since been a volunteer with the organization in many different capacities. She was member of the Board of Directors of AWSRV and served as secretary, vice president and president.

Her current pups are Mountain Humane alums Millie and Mica.  They enjoy life together… hiking, xc skiing, and traveling the countryside in DOGVAN. As a “Level 3 Dog Handler”, she also enjoys working with the pups at Mountain Humane to assist in their journey to forever homes. “Saving animals and changing lives” is the mission of Mountain Humane and Rosemary’s goal as a board member is to support that mission for future generations.
