Sophie Sohl

Originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, Sophie has lived in the Wood River Valley since 2017 when her family decided to move here after spending their summers here during her youth. When her family first moved to the valley, volunteering at the Mountain Humane was her biggest goal. She and her mom would come socialize cats. A month after she turned 18, she saw a position open in kennel and she jumped at the opportunity to be around shelter animals.
She has two cats of her own that she got from a friend of her moms, but no animals from the shelter….yet. Being a part of the impact made at Mountain Humane has become one of her biggest accomplishments and she is so grateful to be here!
When not working, she loves doing arts and crafts, spending time outdoors like going on river walks or spending time at the lake, and enjoys doing puzzles.
