While we strive to have animals find homes as quickly as possible, we also aim to make sure their stay at Mountain Humane is not only pleasant but also productive. Our volunteers are key to this reality – without them, the lives of the animals wouldn’t be the same. From washing dishes, hiking with dogs, spending time with cats, making phone calls to follow up with adopters, working behind the scenes at events, and so much more – the success of each connection would be impossible without our volunteers!
